Types & Styles
MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard)
Our go-to for solid, stable backing. Smooth, dense, and ideal for both small and large frames.
• 2.5 mm: Small frames
• 3.5 mm: Medium frames
• 5 mm: Large wall pieces
• 8–10 mm: Oversized, layered, or archival frames
Green MDF
Same strength, made sustainably. Contains low-emission adhesives and eco-certified fibers. Ideal for green buildings, eco-conscious clients, and institutions.
Sunboard (PVC Foam)
Lightweight yet rigid — used when frame weight is a concern. Especially great for shipping, portable art, or large installations.

2.5 mm MDF:
• Suitable for small frames (up to 12"x18")
• Lightweight and easy to work with
3.5 mm MDF:
• Ideal for standard frames (up to 24"x36")

5 mm MDF:
• Best for large wall pieces
• Reduces the risk of bowing or distortion over time
8 mm MDF (on request):
• Adds a premium, sturdy feel for heavier artwork
• Ideal for high-value or layered pieces
10 mm MDF (on request):
• Maximum reinforcement for oversized or archival work
• Often used in gallery or museum settings
Green MDF (Eco-Friendly Option)
• Available in: 3 mm, 5 mm, 8 mm, and 10 mm
• Same durability and performance as regular MDF
• Manufactured with low-emission adhesives
